La Toison d'or

With 5 years’ experience with her first company, a perfume brand, Camille Dol puts all her energy and creativity into developing strategies tailored to the needs of each company, helping them to grow.

La Toison d’or takes advantage of its exceptional location on Pampelonne beach to offer two different atmospheres, depending on the season. In spring, as in the Indian summer, it’s a haven of total relaxation, where you can unwind far from the hustle and bustle. In summer, the village comes alive as the starting point for a festive Saint-Tropez, just a stone’s throw from the private beaches of Pampelonne. A plunge into the heart of the crazy atmosphere that has made this legendary town such a legend!

Production

Brief

To compose the sound identity of the establishment.

He wanted to accentuate the luxury aspect of the establishment while maintaining the family atmosphere that is so characteristic of it. The identity must correspond to the key words: Tropical, dynamic, elegant, authentic and family.

The theme should be broken down into 4 moods: calm, restaurant, accommodation and beach/festive.

The identity will be used on the website, social networks, in accommodation and on the telephone (reception + waiting).

Réflexion

I started by listening to the funky pop music previously used on the video presenting the estate in the Kasai: ‘Agitations tropicales’ by L’impératrice.

I didn’t find the luxury aspect I was looking for in this style of music, so I browsed the other more electronic music used on social networks to understand and get a feel for the Golden Fleece’s personal tastes.

Having previously worked in the events industry, I also explored the tribal house style music played in hotels and restaurants on the Côte d’Azur at parties where elegance is a must.

Composition

The three sources of inspiration gave rise to 3 proposals. The tribal house style was chosen.

I began by choosing tribal voices typical of this musical style, which perfectly embodied the criteria imposed.

I then worked on the percussion, a key element that accompanies the arrangement by giving a specific rhythm to each part, imposing its own energy.

The electronic keyboard then lays down the harmony, while the arpeggios on the synthesiser create a catchy, festive melody.

To lighten the composition, the theme of the song is taken up by a light, delicate marimba, often heard in summer music of this kind.
