Production

Brief

To create the jingle for the Foire Internationale de Marseille.

The brief gave Disc’over carte blanche, with the only stipulation being that the FIM changes theme every year. The sound signature therefore had to be able to adapt to each of its themes over the years.

reflexion

Here, the challenge was to create a sound hook to attract the public’s attention before each announcement in the Parc Chanot during the FIM.

The jingle had to be loud enough for everyone to hear, but discreet enough not to disturb visitors. The behaviour of the target audience triggered by the jingle was therefore :
To hear without listening.

Composition

I proposed several jingles in different musical styles and the rock version was the one that stood out from the others.

The composition uses instruments that are familiar to everyone, in order to adapt to each theme that FIM will develop in the future:

  • Percussion with the shaker as a delicate base
  • Saturated electric guitar for dynamics
  • Underpinning bass to give the jingle a rounded feel
