Phone reception

Telephone reception is often a customer’s first contact with a brand. It’s the gateway to the brand’s image, and it’s vital to take care of it. It plays the role of an audio showcase, and must therefore be consistent with the brand’s values, so that the calling customer perceives them perfectly.

Production

What ?

A telephone greeting has up to 3 elements:

  • Pre-hook (classic or multi-choice):
This is the classic telephone ringing tone, replaced by a message lasting a few seconds to let the caller know that he or she is in the right place and that someone will answer the call. It can also be adapted as a personalized message for business mobiles.
  • Call waiting:
This is a message played when calls are transferred or the caller is put on hold.
  • Answering machine or mobile messaging:
This is a message broadcast outside working hours, indicating opening hours, the e-mail and website where the caller can reach the company, and the name of the person for a business mobile answering machine.

Where ?

For use on all company telephony terminals:

  • Switchboard
  • Offices
  • Cell phones

Everything must be identical to maintain consistency between each telephone terminal.

How ?

Reception is the combination of 2 sound elements:

  • The sound identity, from which a few elements are removed to make room for the second element.
  • A voice-over to deliver the specific message.

This operation is repeated as many times as necessary for a multi-choice menu greeting.
